National Society for Epilepsy

- To ask the Secretary of State for Health what sums the Department has allocated to the National Society for Epilepsy in each of the last 10 years; and what the reasons for the payments were in each case.

The Secretary of State has powers under Section 64 of the Health and Public Services Act 1968 to make grants to voluntary organisations in England whose activities support the Department's policy priorities. Funding allocated to the National Society for Epilepsy through the Section 64 General Scheme of Grants over the last 10 years is shown in the table.
