- To ask the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry what plans he has to assess carbon capture technology for the UK's coal-fired power stations.

The Government plans are set out in the Carbon Abatement Technology Strategy for Fossil Fuel Use announced on 14 June 2005 and which is available in the Libraries of the House.
