- Question
- To ask the Minister of State, Department for Constitutional Affairs what assessment she has made of the (a) integrity and (b) authenticity of documents held in the Public Record Office; and if she will make a statement.

The National Archives has a duty to make its holdings publicly available under the Public Records Act 1958 but has put in place a range of security measures to safeguard their integrity and authenticity. In the light of a current case, these measures are being reviewed.
