- To ask the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry what facilities his Department has to deal with telephone inquiries in (a) Welsh, (b) Scots Gaelic and (c) Irish Gaelic.

The Department of Trade and Industry has a contract with an external telephone translation service that enables it, by means of a three-way conference call, to handle telephone calls in Welsh, Scots Gaelic and Irish Gaelic.
