Premier League (TV Rights)
- Question
- To ask the Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport what (a) financial assistance and (b) legal assistance, Ofcom has offered to the European Commission on deciding the structure of Premier League television broadcasting rights from season 2007–08 onwards.

The matter raised is the responsibility of Ofcom, as independent regulator. Accordingly, officials have asked the chief executive to respond directly to the hon. Member. Copies of the letter will be placed in the Libraries of both Houses.
