- Question
- To ask the Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport how much the Office of Communications has spent to date on its investigation into Premier League broadcasting rights.

Ofcom and the Office of Fair Trading, as the national competition authorities, have been advising the European Commission in relation to their investigation into the sale of Premier League broadcasting rights. The level of expenditure by Ofcom on this work is a matter for the Chief Executive, Stephen Carter, and officials have asked him to respond directly to the hon. Member. Copies of the letter will be placed in the Libraries of both Houses.
