Administrative Savings

Question
To ask the Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport what administrative savings have been made by her Department in each of the last eight years.
Answer

Information on gross controlled administration costs underspends for my Department is included in the published Public Expenditure Outturn White Papers for the relevant years. These are available in the Library of the House.Details of efficiency gains being made as part of the SR04 efficiency programme, as set out in the Efficiency Technical Notes, are available on the Department's website:"http://www.culture.gov.uk/global/publications/archive_2004."
