Peter Hogarth Report
- Question
- To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs if he will place in the Library the report he commissioned from Peter Hogarth into the working of his Office.
- Answer
-
[holding answer 9 January 2006]: No, because to do so in this case would impair the free and frank provision of advice to Ministers on which the effective conduct of government depends. However, I have written to my hon. Friend today to give him an account of this report, its origins, conclusions and recommendations and will place a copy of my letter in the Library of the House.
