- To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department pursuant to the answer of 30 January (PQ31458), how many of the 5,385 principal asylum applicants considered on another Family ILR application were granted indefinite leave to remain; and how many dependants of these principal applicants have also been granted indefinite leave to remain in each of the last three years.

This could be obtained only at disproportionate cost by examination of individual case records.Information on asylum applications and initial decisions are published quarterly and annually.
