Footpath Closure Orders

Question

To ask the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs how many applications for footpath closure orders have been made in each metropolitan district in the county of Greater Manchester under the Countryside and Rights of Way Act 2000 since the act came into force; and how many were successful in each district.

Answer

This information is held by local highway authorities and could be gathered only at a disproportionate cost.
