- To ask the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry, (1) how many (a) males and (b) females have been (i) prosecuted and (ii) convicted under the Privacy and Electronic Communications (EC Directive) Regulations 2003, (S.I. 2003, No. 2426); and if he will make a statement on the operation of the Regulations;

Statistics concerning complaints, prosecutions and convictions are a matter for the Information Commissioner, who has responsibility for the operation of the Privacy and Electronic Communications (EC Directive) Regulations.
