Engagements

Question
To ask the Prime Minister, if he will list his official engagements for Wednesday 1st March.
Answer

Before I list my engagements, let me say that I am sure the whole House will join me in sending our condolences to the families of the two British soldiers who were killed in Iraq yesterday. They were doing a vital and important job, and we owe them a great debt of gratitude. I am also sure that the House will join me in sending our warm wishes to Mr. Speaker for a speedy recovery. This morning I had meetings with ministerial colleagues and others. In addition to my duties in the House, I will have further such meetings later today.
