Proceeding contribution from Geoffrey Hoon (Labour) in the House of Commons on Thursday, 16 February 2006. It occurred during Business statement on Business of the House.
Business of the House
The hon. Gentleman is referring to long-standing arrangements put in place by the Governments of the respective countries. They have been in place for a very long time, under not only under this but previous Governments. It would require a great deal of careful thought before we could replace such long-standing understandings.
