Question
What is their current assessment of the humanitarian crisis in the south-eastern part of the Democratic Republic of Congo, especially with regard to the numbers and well-being of street children.
Answer

The latest assessment of the humanitarian crisis in Kantanga province in south-eastern region of the Democratic Republic Congo from the United Nations stated that over 11,800 households have been vacated. In response the UN rapid response fund, to which the British Government are a contributor, is providing emergency humanitarian assistance to over 60,000 people.The humanitarian assistance provided by the UN agencies and non-governmental organisations (NGOs) is targeted at all vulnerable groups including children.
