Question
To ask the Secretary of State for Health what guidance she has issued to (a) primary care trusts and (b) hospital trusts on dealing with referrals by GPs for hearing tests by an audiologist.
Answer

The Department has issued no guidance with reference to referrals by general practitioners for hearing tests by an audiologist.
