Africa: Afriplanet Programme

- What support they are providing for the United Nations Industrial Development Organisation’s Afriplanet programme; and whether they will be represented at the biannual meeting of Afriplanet on 12 June in Johannesburg.

DfID provides an annual contribution of £4.6 million to the United Nations Industrial Development Organisation (UNIDO). This is not targeted at specific programmes such as Afriplanet. There are no current plans to participate at the biannual meeting on 12 June.
