- I am most grateful to the Minister for that reply, but would she kindly go back and check the accuracy of reports that a pre-publication copy of the latest IMC report was indeed passed to the Alliance party, and thereby to the Democratic Unionist party? If that was the case, will she take action to make sure that that pattern is not repeated?

If the hon. Lady has evidence that a pre-publication copy was passed to anybody, we would be grateful for it. I can only repeat, however, that the report was not passed to any of the Northern Ireland parties; there may have been speculation about the content, but no copy was issued by the Department.
