Witness Intimidation

Question
To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department how many people have been convicted of intimidating witnesses in each of the last five years.
Answer

Data from the court proceedings database held by the office for criminal justice reform for the number of people convicted of intimidating witnesses in England and Wales for the years 2000 to 2004 can be found in the following table.Data for 2005 will be available in the autumn of 2006.
