Commission for Equality and Human Rights

Question
Whether, in the light of delays in appointing a chair for the new Commission for Equality and Human Rights, they have made an assessment of the likely consequential delays in the timetable for the commission becoming operational.
Answer

There is no change to the overall timetable for appointing the chair to the new Commission for Equality and Human Rights. We are on target for the chair to be appointed this summer.
