Deepcut Review
- Question
- Whether they intend to review further their response to recommendation 26 (The role of the Commissioner) of the Blake Deepcut review in light of the comments made by Nicholas Blake QC in paragraphs 17 to 21 of his response on 13 June.
- Answer
-
Our proposals with regard to recommendation 26 of the Deepcut review, as stated in the Government’s response to the review, will now be subject to the full process of parliamentary scrutiny. The remaining stages of the Armed Forces Bill’s passage through Parliament will provide the opportunity for such examination and debate.
