- To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department how many (a) own force investigations, (b) supervised investigations, (c) managed investigations and (d) independent investigations have been carried out by the Independent Police Complaints Commission in each year since it was established.

The Independent Police Complaints Commission is an independent body responsible for the management of the police complaints system. I will ensure that the chairman receives a copy of the question and replies to you directly. Copies of the letter containing the IPCC's response will be placed in the House Libraries.
