Plastic Water Bottles

- To ask the Secretary of State for Health pursuant to the answer of 9 January 2006, Official Report, column 155W, on plastic water bottles, if she will ensure that information is disseminated to the public on possible contamination of drinking water in plastic bottles from cleaning materials stored nearby.

The Food Standards Agency (FSA) has published advice on this matter. They have advised consumers not to store food or drink, including plastic bottles of water, next to chemicals.
