- To ask the Deputy Prime Minister how much his Office has spent on taxis in the last 12 months.

For information relating to financial year 2005-06, I refer the hon. Member to the answer which will be given by my right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government to the hon. Member for Meriden (Mrs. Spelman). Expenditure for this financial year will be accounted for in the department’s annual report and accounts in the usual way.
