Departmental Expenditure

Question
To ask the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs how much his Department has spent on taxis in the last 12 months.
Answer

The Department does not hold information on travel by taxi centrally and this could be provided only at disproportionate cost. Since the beginning of this financial year core Defra has accounted for taxi costs separately and this information should be available from the end of the financial year.
