Sex Offenders

- To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department how many rapists have been released from jail on parole since 23 May 2006.

[holding answer 19 October 2006]: Financial year figures on the release of prisoners on parole by various categories of offence including sexual offences are published in the Parole Board's Annual Report, which is published in the autumn. Figures for 2006-07 will be available in autumn 2007.
