- To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department how many serving police officers have been (a) prosecuted and (b) convicted of a criminal offence in each year since 1997, broken down by (i) sex, (ii) age and (iii) police force; and how many (A) were suspended from duty, (B) were demoted, (C) were dismissed and (D) received a police caution.

The Independent Police Complaints Commission is responsible for the management of the police complaints system.I will ensure that the chairman receives a copy of the question and replies to the hon.
