Question
To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department what his most recent estimate is of the average time taken to complete a prison cell searching risk assessment; and if he will make a statement.
Answer

There is no prison cell searching risk assessment. Cell searching is carried out in accordance with prison rules, national Prison Service policy and prisons’ local security strategies.
