- Question
- To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department what proposals he has to restart negotiations on re-structuring police pay; and when he expects the settlement of that pay through the Police Negotiating Board.

On 6 November the Home Secretary announced that he will implement the Police Arbitration Tribunal award for the 2006 police officer pay settlement in full. The Home Secretary also announced that we will review the current arrangements for police pay and that he will make a statement to the House on the basis for that review shortly.
