Judicial Appointments Commission

Question: To ask the Minister of State, Department for Constitutional Affairs how many employees of the Judicial Appointments Commission on (a) permanent and (b) other contracts (i) have previously worked for and (ii) are on secondment from her Department, broken down by Civil Service grade.

Answer: There are no permanent employees of the Judicial Appointments Commission who previously worked for the Department for Constitutional Affairs.With the exception of one post, there are no agency staff in the Judicial Appointments Commission who previously worked for the Department of Constitutional Affairs.There are currently 77 Judicial Appointments Commission employees who are on varying lengths of secondment from the Department for Constitutional Affairs.Three are members of the SCS; 10 are Span 8; eight are Span 7; 11 are Span 6; 25 are Span 4; and 20 are Span 3.
