Sport: National Debate

- asked Her Majesty's Government:Why the Minister for Sport, Mr Richard Caborn, was not chosen to be one of the four Ministers in charge of the national debate on sport and fitness launched on 25 October.

The department's interests in this debate will be represented by the Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport. However, Richard Caborn as Minister for Sport will also have a key role to play in any national debate on sport and fitness.
