Prison Service
- Question
- To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department what the responsibilities and job content are of a foreign national prisoner co-ordinator; and if he will place an example of a job description in the Library.
- Answer
-
There is no centrally prescribed job description which covers the responsibility and job content for foreign national prisoner co-ordinators. This remains a matter for individual prison governors to determine. The amount of time allocated to the role and the responsibilities undertaken will vary according to the size and nature of the prison and the number of foreign national prisoners held. It is therefore not possible to provide a common job description.
