Criminal Records Backlog

- To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department pursuant to his oral statement of 10 January 2007, how many of the 525 British nationals convicted abroad of serious offences have been convicted of offences in the UK subsequent to their conviction abroad; how many of these subsequent convictions have resulted in a custodial sentence; and what steps he has taken to ascertain such information.
