- Question
- To ask the Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster what the expenditure by her Department on buying, operating and supporting (a) all commercial software products and (b) software products produced by Microsoft was in each of the last three years.
- Answer

It is not possible to readily identify from the Department's accounting system what the cost of supporting (a) all commercial software products and (b) software products produced by Microsoft, was in each of the last three years. This information is therefore available only at disproportionate cost.
