Iraq: Emigration

Question

To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what estimate she has made of the number of Iraqi (a) scientists and (b) government officials who left Iraq for Syria in the month before the allied invasion of Iraq in 2003.

Answer

It is the long-standing policy of the Government not to comment on intelligence matters.
