Iraq: Force Levels

asked Her Majesty's Government:Further to the Answer by the Lord President on 21 February (Official Report col. 1084), when the Government of Australia were consulted over the plans for United Kingdom forces drawdown in Iraq.
Answer

We have made clear our intent to consult with allies over our plans for Iraq and will continue to do so in the future. We consulted the Australian Government, along with other allies, prior to the Lord President's announcement.
