State Veterinary Service

Question
To ask the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs what estimate he has made of the cost of (a) marketing and (b) changes to stationery from the change of name of the State Veterinary Service to Animal Health.
Answer

[holding answer 20 April 2007]: The information is as follows."(a) There is no actual cost of marketing as the change to Animal Health has been aligned with the organisation’s new corporate brochure which is produced annually and sent to stakeholders, as well as the production of the corporate plan and business plan which have to be produced annually. These have therefore been produced using the new agency name, and would have been produced anyway.""(b) Estimated stationery costs are: redesign of business cards, compliment slips and letter-headed paper—£1,600. IBM work to design and roll out online versions of fax and letterhead templates to staff, £2,500. These are quotes at the moment, Animal Health is awaiting final bills."
