- What protests FCO has conveyed through diplomatic channels to Govt of Islamic Republic of Iran regarding broadcast on Tehran radio on 6 Mar of speech by President of Supreme Court of Iran regarding alleged duty of Muslims to murder Salman Rushdie & to make it clear to Iranian authorities that normal relations with UK are impossible while prominent Iranians repeat these threats.
