- asked Her Majesty's Government:Whether they have refused to grant a transit visa to the Iraqi scientist, Riyadh Lafta; if so, what were the grounds for the refusal; and whether, as alleged in the Guardian of 26 April, they have received complaints from Canadian scientists about the refusal to grant a transit visa to Mr Lafta.
