World War II: Bevin Boys

- asked Her Majesty's Government:Whether a decision has been taken regarding recognition for the war effort of the Bevin Boys from 1939 to 1945.

Following the Prime Minister's Statement on 24 January 2007 (Official Report, col. 1419-20) that the Government would give further recognition to the Bevin Boys, a decision will be made in due course on precisely what form it should take.
