Animal Welfare: Vets

Question
asked Her Majesty's Government:What has been the cost of renaming the former State Veterinary Service with the title Animal Health.
Answer

The work required to rename the State Veterinary Service is as a result of its merger with other Defra inspectorates and licensing bodies. It is not possible to accurately estimate the cost of this work since this work is still ongoing. However, we expect that in total the work will cost less than £60,000.
