Immigration Controls: Russia

Question
To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department how many Russian citizens have been refused entry into the United Kingdom on the grounds of a threat to national security in the last 12 months.
Answer

[holding answer 11 June 2007]: As a matter of policy we do not comment on matters relating to national security. However, all applicants for entry clearance must meet the requirements of the immigration rules and associated policies, as set out on the UKVisas website at"www.ukvisas.gov.uk ."
