Since the passage of UN Security Council Resolution 1701 in August 2006, the UN Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) has not been in action against armed militants or terrorists. As a consequence, no casualties have been received or inflicted. UNIFIL has not made any arrests or detained any personnel. Any arrests or detentions have been carried out by the Lebanese authorities, as UNIFIL is not mandated to carry out these tasks.
