Question
To ask the Secretary of State for Health what guidance has been issued by her Department on the covert monitoring of parents while on hospital premises for the detection and prevention of child abuse.

The full guidance issued by the Department, ““Safeguarding Children in Whom Illness is Fabricated or Induced””, contains relevant guidance on covert monitoring of parents on hospital premises.
