Immigration: Family Indefinite Leave to Remain

asked Her Majesty's Government:Whether they will repeat the family indefinite leave to remain exercise of 2003; and
Answer

I can reassure the noble Lord that officials from the Border and Immigration Agency will take into account the position of children, including the impact of their removal, in line with the requirements of the Immigration Rules. This is not dependant on any repeat of the family indefinite leave to remain exercise of 2003.
