The breakdown of information in the format requested could be obtained only at disproportionate cost. However, the following table sets out the overall expenditure incurred by Communities and Local Government on overseas and domestic travel (for civil servants and Ministers) in the last 12 months.
1 July 2006 to 30 June 2007 £ Overseas travel and subsistence costs 257,447 Domestic travel and subsistence costs 2,004,632 The figures include all expenditure for travel by air, train, taxi and car as well as subsistence and hotel accommodation costs.All travel by civil servants and Ministers of Communities and Local Government is conducted in accordance with the requirements of the Civil Service Management Code and the Ministerial Code and Travel.
