- To ask the Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government what estimate she has made of the number of (a) home condition reports and (b) energy performance certificates (EPCs) that will be lodged on the respective online registers once (i) home information packs are required for all homes and (ii) EPCs are required for rented and social domestic dwellings.

I refer the hon. Member to the answer of 25 June 2005, Official Report, column 160W, given to the hon. Member for Brentwood and Ongar (Mr. Pickles). We will be monitoring the take-up on Home Condition Report.The Regulatory Impact Assessment for the Energy Performance of Buildings Directive—Articles 7-10 published on 29 March 2007 details the estimated number of energy performance certificates that will be lodged in the register by sector.|
