Home Affairs Committee

Question: To ask the Leader of the House pursuant to the statement of 25 July 2007, Official Report, columns 920-1, on the work of the Home Affairs Committee, (1) what work programme was undertaken by the Home Affairs Committee during the summer recess;

Answer: The work programme for select committees of the House is a matter for the individual committees. Information on the activities of each committee is available from the select committee calendar and current inquiries list (available on the Parliament website) on individual committee websites. For additional information the hon. Member should write to the chairman of the committee concerned.The chairman of the Home Affairs Committee was paid £2,749.68 (gross) during the period 26 July to 8 October.
