- To ask the Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport if he will make a statement on the provision and location of facilities to enable British competitors in pistol shooting to practise legally within the UK prior to the 2012 games.

Agreement has been reached in principle on the use of Ministry of Defence ranges by a small squad of elite pistol shooters. The Home Office is currently considering how best to take this forward.It will be for Scottish Ministers to decide what arrangements should apply in Scotland.
