House of Lords: Tax Returns
- Question
- asked Her Majesty's Government:When it will be possible for Members of the House of Lords to file their tax returns online.
- Answer
-
HMRC is looking at possible enhancements to its online services to enable the very small minority of self-assessment taxpayers, including some Members of the House of Lords, currently unable to file their tax returns online, to do so. However, these will take time to develop and it is not currently possible to say when those Members will be able to file online.
