- Question
- To ask the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland what the average length of time taken to complete a protection of children and vulnerable adults check by the Police Service of Northern Ireland was in the latest period for which figures are available.

The PSNI Child/Vulnerable Adult Access Vetting Unit currently receives around 5,000 requests for vetting each week.Random checks show that vetting checks received are being returned to registered bodies on average within five to six weeks.
